Xolile Khumalo, spokesperson for Johannesburg EMS, stated that children must be supervised at all times when playing at swimming pools.”

Meanwhile, in Durban, the search continues for a 21-year-old man who drowned on Sunday in the Tugela River near Mandeni, north of Durban. It is alleged that the man experienced difficulties while attempting to cross the river.”
Samantha Meyrick from IPSS Search and Rescue stated, “IPSS Search Rescue, along with Empangeni Search and Rescue and the Durban SAPS, are back on the scene in Mandeni. It was reported on Sunday afternoon that a 21-year-old man had gone missing while attempting to cross. The search for the man’s body will continue.”
