Dr. Thanti Mthanti, the treasurer-general of Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK), has resigned from the party. Party leader Jacob Zuma has confirmed that he received Mthanti’s resignation letter and expressed his appreciation for Mthanti’s contributions to the organization. Mthanti cited personal and professional commitments as the reasons for his resignation. The party officials are currently working to identify a suitable successor.
